My trouble is that even making small batches the cakes never last that long! At least these are individually wrapped so I can't use the excuse "they'll do dry!"

I bake large amounts and freeze in individual pieces. Everything from quiche to chocolate cake! The freezer is my best friend

Thanks for the toms advice Dove and others. Will do the same

Yeah, I have to work this weekend (stupid o'clock shifts since I'm a baker)

Bit chilly here this morning so the tomatoes are alright in the open coldframe? Or should I just leave them cosy in doors? Trying to harden them off but I'm a patient lass so if anyone could advise me would be great.

Have a great day everyone

PS I dont have a greenhouse

Erm, pass? How can you tell that?

Yeah he is a handsome bugger, takes after his dad

Some of the plants in your garden only like acid soil

Sounds fantastic Woody.  Exciting stuff

Wot am I like eh?  Planted stuff yesterday but this evening had an impulsive change of mind and changed some of it.  Glad too...if all looks right now.

Hmmm this reminds me of me. I take a long time to choose where to plant and exactly 24hrs after the deed is finally accomplish, I suddenly find a better place!

Morning all. Rainy persistantly here today, not sure if it will brighten up later but i don't mind a work free day or two. I'm still recovering from all that hard labour...dunno how you men manage it day in day out.

Have fun in your gardens today!
