Good Evening FORKERS

GG your pics look amazing, your garden is lovely. I thought about you today whilst I was gardening. After having an extension built we have started our front garden from scratch. We've had low stone walls built and a new pathway and I'm gradually filling in the border which isn't always easy as I'm a relatively novice gardener and not always sure what to put where. I put in a couple more shrubs today and my acers and hostas are filling out nicely. I stood back and had a moment of satisfaction at the result and it was then that I thought of you and all the work you have been doing. So you're certainly not boring, give yourself a pat on the back, you deserve it

Hope everyone has had an enjoyable day and the weather has been as lovely as it has been here.

Went to the GC this morning to buy some screening and just had to have an agapanthus 'luly', also spotted an epimedium which went in the trolley too, I'd admired one at one of my patients gardens so was pleased to get one today. From there we went to a local gardening shop and bought a couple of blue delphiniums.

Ive had such an enjoyable and yet tiring day, shame the forecast isn't good for tomorrow. Must go now and wake OH, I can hear him snoring in the bath !!!!

Wow what a busy day! We had a skip delivered yesterday and have been wheelbarrowing rubble etc back and forth and regaining garden that was taken over when we had our building work done. Also this area of garden was 'let go' by the previous owners and we are gradually turning it over to our vegetable area, lots of weeds and waste rubbish is being hauled into the skip too. We have left over stone from the build which I've also been moving from one area to another. W ant to keep it to build some cold frames at a later date.

Hoping to plant out my beans tomorrow but have to go to GC first thing to buy some bamboo screening as the old lot has rotted away and the dog keeps escaping!

Catch up tomorrow, happy gardening

What a lovely day it's been, all afternoon spent in the garden, heaven. Planted some shrubs out and prepared the beds for the peas and beans, cut  the grass and sat making more plans of whats to come. Popped down to the shops to buy some milk and had to turn the car around in a side street that I've never used before and lo and behold I found a new gardening shop tucked away! It's a small independant place, like a warren with nooks and crannies everywhere, what a gem! Already have a mental shopping list, good job I only had a fiver tucked in my pocket as I dread to think what I would have brought home . Am definately popping down there next week.

Dove, hope you have a lovely holiday

GG glad you enjoyed yours, don't envy you the washing but what a lovely list of plants!

Andy and wife, congratulations on your prize winners

Hi to all, hope you've had a lovely weekend
