Verdun, thank you I'm completely recovered

Sounds like you have all been very busy. Had to work all day, got home around 6 so pretty k.......d!  Really looking forward to my day off tomorrow, got loads of plans gardening wise, not going to look at tomorrow's forecast as I want to cherish the idea of spending time in the garden til the last minute.

TT I understand you're frustration, do sentences for GBH get shorter when you're retired

A pleasant evening to all......

Evening peeps

Well we've had sunshine, hail, rain, more hail then sunshine , what a mixture today has been.Managed to get an hour in the greenhouse, have discarded a few plants that  had what I think was a fungus all over the compost, didn't want to risk leaving it and it spreading.

Bev, no housework spoken of here either, it will get done when its too wet outside but will concede to do a spot of ironing [ only what is absolutely necessary]

Have quite a lot of work on tomorrow but weather permitting I will be gardening on Sunday and may sneak a visit in to the GC

Speak later!

Just saying hi and introducing myself :-)

Hi VP welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll find it enjoyable to chat on here giving and receiving lots of advice, I've found everyone so friendly, mad but friendly lol! I'm relatively new to veggie gardening and picking up lots of info here but sometimes it's nice just to pop in to say hello and see what everyone's been up to. It also keeps you motivated when things don't always go to plan. hope you enjoy it too!

TT, FG and GG, thank you very much for your understanding

GG I was on betablockers for 2 years which did help, I was getting around 3 migraines a week at the time and they certainly helped reduce them. I'm afraid it's the hormonal age which started them off ( sorry any guys lol). I get on average a couple a month now and I'm now off the betablockers, I didn't want to stay on them forever. Tell your son to ask his Gp for Naramig, they have to be taken as soon as a headache is felt and it stops it developing into a migraine, they are marvellous but if like me your head starts during the night then it's the pain that wakes you and sometimes a little too late to halt the development, but I wouldn't be without it! It is expensive which is why it's not always offered straight off, Imigran which works in a similar way worked for me for a while too. He would need to see if these were ok to take re his asthma.

Catch up later
