Overall: I bought this many years ago at a car boot sale from a delightful lady who loved it, as it always came into flower on her husband's birthday in mid August. It is slow to get going but then adds a real touch of colour from late summer into October. I find that it spreads gently and rarely requires staking as the stiff stalks support themselves well. It also responds well to being divided and I have given loads away to family and friends. Definitely worth looking out for.
