Roots in the soil

Posted: 25/05/2016 at 16:53

there is another way of growing toms. i use a bucket with the bottom cut out and sink it in the ground to half it,s depth. i fill it with growbag compost . the toms can get their roots well down and the compost has feed in it for 6 weeks or so. then you can feed weekly. i,ve yoused this system for years with success .i hope this helps. all roads lead to rome. cheers WRINKLY1

the nutrients in new bags give new tom plants a kick start.for a total of 6 weeks or so. starve them then would be a mistake to my thinking. why chance it.  cheers WRINKLY 1

i seem to have no luck growing carrots. so this is plan b. i am trying pellet  seeds      this year.. has anyone ever tried these .and what results. i thought it would save thinning . hence carrot fly.
