it could be magnesium deficiancy. try a teaspoon of epsom salts around the roots and water in every few days. good luck.

the plot you plan to put thrm next year . lightly turn top few inches this back end. and leave alone till next year . walk all over it next spring and do not dig. the harder the better they like it.old gardeners tales tell of using a crowbar and planting. this years are u,s. you might use the tops in spring do,nt give up. wrinkly1

i had a great crop of crimson globe last year. but this year i have huge tops and nowt else  same allotment and soil.. only differance is old rotten manure dug in back end. would this affect it.  cheers.

i don/t worry about leaf curl much. it occurs when plants are growing. i sugest feeding more.try two or even 3 times a week .it could be your compost is running out of nutriants.  if leaves are yellowing put a teaspoon of epson salts sprinkled round base and water in. it could be lack of magnesium. good luck. let us know of progress.

inside my polytunnel the leaves on my dwalf french beans are all holes and nibbled. also leaves have brown blotches on them.  any ideas. cheers . wrinkly1

same as andy. premier polytunnels. i just got a new cover this year. 15ft. by 10foot. exelant service and received in 48 fellow lotty mates all recomended them . hope this helps.. cheers wrinkly1
