i had a great crop of crimson globe last year. but this year i have huge tops and nowt else same allotment and soil.. only differance is old rotten manure dug in back end. would this affect it. cheers.
i don/t worry about leaf curl much. it occurs when plants are growing. i sugest feeding more.try two or even 3 times a week .it could be your compost is running out of nutriants. if leaves are yellowing put a teaspoon of epson salts sprinkled round base and water in. it could be lack of magnesium. good luck. let us know of progress.
the fun of potato,s is you don,t know what you get till you dig up your first fork full.look on the bright side. you don,t get large spuds off small tops. good luck. wrinkly1.
