Overall: not sure what you mean by skill level - "experienced". Does this mean once the tree is planted it requires a lot of maintenance of some form or another? If so it would have been useful to know what.
What time of year is best to trim/prune or cut to required shape?.
Although described as hardy, does this refer to cold temperature tolerant, can survive in costal areas, or that winds won't burn off all its leaves prematurely? or hardy enough to survive all of the above and more.........?

Overall: contradictory info - states soil type chalky/alkaline. Then in main info states happiest in acid soil. will tolerate mildly alkaline conditions, but is not happy on very chalky soils. Give us a clue - we're not all experts.
