'Wargrave Pink' is an attractive variety of this adaptable perennial that will grow in just about any type of soil as long as it's not waterlogged. It is a strong grower with warm salmon-pink flowers that appear from summer into autumn. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM) in recognition of its outstanding excellence. To keep plants looking tidy, cut them back them to ground level in mid-summer. Provided they are moist enough, they will then produce a fresh display of leaves and flowers.
