Abelia x grandiflora 'Confetti' is a beautiful dwarf sized, slow-growing shrub with variegated foliage and lightly fragrant, pale pink flowers. Its flowers are a magnet for bumblebees. It's perfect for growing in a mixed or shrub border and is particularly well suited to small gardens. It's evergreen in mild regions.
Grow Abelia x grandiflora 'Confetti' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade, ideally with the protection of a south- or west-facing wall. The sunnier spot you provide, the more flowers you will be rewarded with.

Great evergreen plant. Review says it needs protection but mine has suffered wind and snow without a Mark. I have mine in clay soil and use as a hedging plant at the front of the border. The flowers are small but add interest, slightly scented.Low maintenance , just trim lightly after flowering. Do not cut into old wood.
