Plant details
Also known as the noble fir this beautiful American conifer makes a stunning specimen tree. It has soft, bluish green, aromatic leaves, that point upwards and forwards along the shoots. These are complemented by cylindrical cones which ripen to a rich chocolately brown. In the open ground it forms a tall specimen tree. It is also good for cutting as a Christmas tree. Cut trees last well in the home without dropping foliage. The cut foliage is also good for making wreaths and other decorations at Christmas time.
