Though it has a long flowering period in its native Australia, it does periodically flower here throughout the year in this country when grown in a conservatory or greenhouse. Large panicles of light bright yellow flowers are freely produced against its attractive grey-green, willow-like foliage. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit which is for plants of outstanding excellence.
