Plant details

A widespread maple throughout the entire Mediterranean region which has a bushy, rounded habit. It has small, leathery, shining dark green, three-lobed leaves, and bears a conspicuous profusion of yellowish-green flowers followed by an attractive display of red-winged keys in mid-summer. An excellent maple for small gardens.
