Plant details

This is a bushy tree with slender arching branches and deeply lobed leaves, bearing clusters of fragrant, creamy-white flowers in early summer. In autumn the leaves turn a rich, deep red. This maple makes an excellent subject for bonsai or grown in the garden as a specimen tree.
