Plant details
This rhizomatous, deciduous marginal is a useful addition to the pond. A spreading aquatic perennial, the plant has strap-shaped, aromatic bright green leaves that have an aroma of tangerine when crushed. The insignificant, horn-like brown flowers appear mid-summer. Plant as a marginal or in water no deeper than 22cm. The iris-like leaves work well with contrasting leaf shapes such as rodgersia.
