Plant details

This unusual perennial is grown for its eye-catching white berries which are held on red stalks during summer. Be warned as these berries are highly toxic if ingested. A native of North American woodland, Actaea alba< needs cool, moist soil that has been enriched with leaf mould. In periods of dry weather, it should be watered reguarly.
