Plant details
A self-fertile female plant, 'Jenny' will produce edible fruits without the need for a male plant. In addition to being a good fruiting variety, the pale yellow flowers and lush foliage add to the appeal of this fruit. Kiwi fruits are vigorous climbers and can easily reach a great height, although they are often trained on horizontal wires on a warm wall and pruned to keep in check. The plants are of borderline hardiness and the young flowering shoots can be damaged by spring frosts, it may be necessary to grow under glass in very cold gardens.
