Aeoniums are fleshy, architectural plants native to Madeira, the Canary Islands and North Africa. They make excellent summer bedding plants, and look particularly good in terracotta pots.

Aeonium leucoblepharum bears spoon-shaped, pink-green leaves with a central brownish vein. the pink coloration of the leaves is more pronounced when plants are grown in full sun.

For best results grow Aeonium leucoblepharum in well-drained soil or containers in a sunny, sheltered position. Water plants sparingly. Provide protection or bring plants indoors in autumn.
