Plant details
This creeping herbaceous perennial makes excellent groundcover for areas with full sun or partial shade. It has lovely purple-bronze evergreen foliage that is topped with beautiful dark blue flower spikes during April and May that attract bees. Plants look particularly effective at the front of the border especially when associated with grey leaved plants, such as stachys, or naturalised in a wild garden.
