This choice bulb puts on a gorgeous show of rose-pink trumpet-like flowers in late summer. The large, strappy leaves follow after the blooms fade and can get caught by frost. To avoid this happening, plant the bulbs at the base of a sheltered, sunny wall or in a cool greenhouse.
