Plant details

A superb perennial that produces flowers from July to September. It is a long-lasting perennial that is attractive even when its in bud. Plants produce an upright tuft of dark green foliage that is topped with small bright red buds that gradually open to reveal small flowers. It is an excellent plant for the cottage garden and thrives on a damp soil. It is excellent as a cut flower or for the border.
