Plant details
This is a very easy going shrub that will do well in any situation or soil. It's one of the more attractive barberries with small, rounded, reddish-purple leaves marbled with pink and white. It is dense, with a rounded shape, and loads of spines to act as a barrier to any intruders into the garden. 'Rose Glow' is a good choice for an informal hedge and where the bright foliage colour is needed to liven up an area. You can trim it during the growing season to keep it in shape.
