This is a very fine plant ideal for growing in marshy soil or as a pond marginal in water up to 12in (30cm) in depth. It has attractive, glossy dark green, heart-shaped leaves and bears exotic white, Arum Lily-like flowers in summer. These are often followed by clusters of red berries in the autumn.
