Plant details
A splendid species with narrow, willow-like leaves and lovely lemon-coloured bottle brushes. This yellow form is the common one in cultivation but red and pink variants have been found in its native Australia. It has distinctive young foliage which is densely covered in fine silky hairs. Like all bottle brush plants, it likes a warm position, preferably against a sunny wall.
