Plant details

Actually a British native wild flower, this beautiful perennial can also be found growing in the wild as far away as Pakistan and Nepal. It is a handsome leafy plant bearing long spikes of large, nodding, dark blue-purple, bell-shaped flowers in summer. Remove the old flower stems promptly to prevent masses of self-sown seedlings.
