Thanks to Columbus, who is credited with discovering the cayenne pepper, gardeners and cooks can enjoy the pleasure of this mixture, containing red, yellow and orange chilli peppers. They are beautiful and very ornamental, offering a 'mind blowing' hot flavour experience. 'Heatwave' is most suited to growing in a greenhouse, but you could try it in patio pots in warmer, sheltered districts.
