Plant details
Purple Venezuelan' is an attractive and unusual pepper with dark purple foliage and almost black stems. The small, round fruits, which are produced throughout the summer start off a dark greenish-purple. These gradually ripen to bright red contrasting well with the dark-purple foliage. This cultivar is suitable for small glasshouses, conservatories or sunny windowsills. Keep plants at high temperatures - generally, the hotter the temperature the stronger the flavour of the fruits.
