Plant details

This is an easily grown, large but very graceful plant well suited for damp and shady areas where little else will grow. In addition to striking clumps of tall grassy foliage, it produces drooping, cat's tail-like, russet-coloured spikes of flowers up to 6in (15cm) long in summer.
