Plant details
A boldly variegated clump-forming sedge with broad, green and white striped leaves that arch gently outwards from the centre of the plant. Insignificant brown, grass-like flower-heads are produced in late spring and early summer, but not often noticed. A useful plant for foliage effect in a damp border or in borderline bog garden conditions at a pondside, including shady sites. The plant associates well with hostas and astilbes.
