Plant details
Originating in India and South East Asia this is an unusual palm producing very large elegant growth made up of many smaller leaves. After flowering the main trunk of the plant will die back but is soon replaced by new shoots which sucker from around the base. It is easy to care for and will grow happily in hot conditions. It is not hardy and will not withstand frost but makes an ideal houseplant for a large conservatory.
