Plant details

An extremely useful, quick-spreading pond plant that' will act as an oxygenator and help keep the water clear. Lob the rootless plants into deep water (at a minimum depth of 30cm), and they spread just below the surface, producing long, tail-like growths with tough, brittle, dark green leaves. If it starts to clog the pond, be ruthless and haul out the excess growth in summer.
