The hardy plumbago is an open branched, spreading, deciduous shrub with slender, bristly mid-green stems. The leaves have purple margins, turing a bright red in autumn. From late summer to autumn, this plant bears striking blue flowers. It can be grown in well-drained soil and prefers full sun.
