Plant details

Chrysanthemum carinatum, also known as painted daisy are fast growing, branched annuals with almost succulent leaves. They are ideal for adding height to borders, as well as interest with its unusual and long lasting flowers. Encourage bushy plants by pinching them back when they are young. They grow best in full sun and in soil that is slightly moist. Chrysanthemum carinatum  ‘Polar Star’ produces pale yellow blooms, zoned in orange.
