Viticella clematis usually have pinnate leaves and nodding, single or double, open-bell-shaped flowers. True to type, Clematis 'Confetti' has elliptic, blue-green leaves and bell-shaped nodding, rose-pink flowers.

It's an attractive clematis, and is ideal for growing as a focal point in the herbaceous border. It can also be allowed to scramble through trees and stubs  or even grown in a container. 

Being a summer-flowering clematis, 'Clematis 'Confetti' is in Pruning Group 3. Simply cut stems back to the lowest pair of buds in February or March.
