Plant details

This flowering dogwood is a stunning sight in late spring when its branches are covered pink bracts. In the autumn, the leaves turn a lovely shade of red-purple. Grow in neutral to acid, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Little pruning is needed but can be pruned in late winter to early spring to maintain a healthy framework.
