Plant details
A robust plant, whose parent is found in the wild in mountainous South Africa, it has a nice mix of arching, sword-like, pleated leaves and crome yellow flowers. They give a long display from July to the end of August, and like all crosmias can be grown around evergreen shrubs such as Choisya ternata (Mexican orange blossom) to perk things up. It has been given the Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by the Royal Horticultural Society.
