Plant details

The pleated, sword-like leaves of this easy to grow summer-flowering bulb add drama to the border from spring to autumn. In July and August they are joined by large sprays of small orange flowers. Plants should be grown in a sunny position with moist but well-drained soil. They are hardy in most gardens, but in colder areas they may need some winter protection.

Stunning architectural plant.... Beautiful trumpet like flowers with huge ribbed leaves. This plant is amazingly easy to grow and comes back every year. Grow at the back of the border as they get to 6ft tall.
