Plant details

A beautiful, smallish crocosmia which flowers in August for one brief midsummer spell, when its tubular, pale lemon flowers open. If placed slightly more in dappled shade than in full sun, the colour will stand out better; in full sun the colour will be quickly bleached out, not really becoming effective until evening as the light starts to fade and all the pale colours become much more prominent.
