Although popularly regarded as immature marrows, courgettes need to be smooth and tender-skinned, and not all marrows are suitable for courgette production. Special varieties have been developed, all bushy types and yielding numerous small fruits. 'Ambassador' is high-yielding with dark green fruit which are produced over a long period of time.
