Plant details
Cyclamen make ideal houseplants for a conservatory, porch or cool room indoors. Their flowers are much larger than the outdoor varieties and are produced throughout the winter months. Plant the tubers into pots of loam based compost so that their tops are level with the surface of the soil and water sparingly until growth begins. Keep the compost just moist and avoid wetting the crown when watering. Feed every two weeks when in flower. After flowering place the plants on their sides and allow to dry off and become dormant. Cyclamen hate conditions that are too hot and dry so a cool room needed to keep them flowering.
