Plant details
This hardy cyclamen has attractive heart-shaped foliage, that can be plain green or have silvery markings. Unlike most cyclamen the foliage does not die down. The flowers vary in colour from pale pink to deep carmine and have a rich scent. It will thrive in dappled shade and is useful for planting underneath deciduous trees and shrubs where it will enjoy the humus rich soil conditions. Plants take a season or two to grow if planted as dry bulbs, and they are better introduced in the green, as growing plants bought in pots.
