Plant details
Asahi Choje' is an unusual pale flowered dahlia which is more understated than the traditional large-flowered hybrids. Each bloom has a row of large red and white petals around the edge with a pincushion of smaller white petals in the centre, giving it an anemone-like appearance. Dahlias like a rich soil and plenty of water to thrive so dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost before planting and keep well watered during the summer months.
