Plant details

Marie Schnugg' is an unusual dahlia that differs in appearance from the traditional large flowered varieties. Each bloom is made up of a series of thin, red, rolled petals surrounding a bright golden centre. This gives it a star-like appearance. This single-flowered variety is more like the natural wild dahlias of Mexico and Guatemala which also produce single flowers.
