Plant details

Delphinium staphisagria is an elegant and upright herb with beautiful bluish-gray flowers. It is one of the rarer varieties of the Delphinium family but it is becoming more popular and works very well in a border with flowers appearing from May to August. It is a native of Southern Europe where it was often found growing in waste spaces. Like most Delphiniums it loves full sun and won't be succesful in the shade.
