Holder of the Royal Horticultural Society's prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM), this unusual foxglove is well-worth trying in a shady, well-drained spot in the garden. It is found growing wild in Italy, Hungary, Turkey and The Balkans. From mid-to late summer, it produces tall spikes of fawn-coloured flowers with brown veins and a lighter lower lip. To propagate, sow seeds in containers in late spring.
