Plant details
Foxgloves are ideal in cottage gardens where they can self-seed all over the place, popping up where least expected and giving surprising new combinations, though they are also easily moved in spring if you want to rearrange them. This white is usually regarded as a biennial (growing in one season, then flowering and dying in the next), but sometimes keeps going for longer as a short-lived perennial. Damp soil in part shade is best.
