Plant details

Spring bedding is synonymous with wallflowers, which make a bright and very fragrant accent in beds and borders early in the year. 'Apricot Delight' is a perennial wallflower that creates an uplifting display of clusters of perfumed orange flowers. In cooler regions E. 'Apricot Delight' can spot flower through summer which is quite unusual. This variety is not as large as some other varieties of Erysimum it is best kept towards the front of your bed/border for best appreciation of the flowers and their perfume. It grows well in ordinary soil providing the location is sunny and free draining. Mulch around the plant to reduce water loss during dry periods and keep weeds at bay. Prune lightly after main flower flush to promote healthy growth. E. 'Apricot Delight' also make delightful cut flowers.
