Plant details
This snowdrop which originates in Russia has wide green leaves that make a pleasant change from the narrow foliage of most spring bulbs. The small delicate flowers are almost completely white and held on narrow stalks. It spreads well quickly forming an attractive carpet in shrubberies and wooded areas. Plants can easily become congested, resulting in a poor flowering display. To prevent this from happening lift them every two to three years and divide, while they still have leaves.
