Plant details
Introduced by Walter Ingwersen from Bulgaria, this is among the most useful hardy geraniums as it thrives in dry, shady positions where many plants fail. It has creeping, rather woody stems making it perfect for use as ground cover. It is partially evergreen and the aromatic leaves turn bright red in autumn. In early summer, white flowers, which are blushed with pink, stud the mounds of lobed foliage.
