This plant is familiar in herbaceous borders, although it also  works well into larger rock gardens, developing into neat dense clumps of restrained foliage. They need a little space for their flowers, which tend to be produced on long spreading stems. Geum 'Mrs J Bradshaw' produces red flowers.
