Geums are familiar favourites in herbaceous borders, although they also work well in larger rock gardens, developing into neat dense clumps of restrained foliage. They need a little space for their flowers, which tend to be produced on long, spreading stems.
Geum 'Prinses Juliana' produces large, orange flowers from May to June. For best results grow in moist but well-drained soil, at the front of ornamental borders.
